About the Work:
“Nature does not distinguish one species from the next. It only celebrates the beauty of shape, color and texture. Its infinite palette is carefully blended to orchestrate combinations that are simultaneously simple, clean and perfect. Like nature, we share an infinite range of shape, sizes and colors, but we often fail to accept and celebrate this diversity.
The visual impact of painting in the United States, Europe and Iceland triggered a deep sense of the veneration of nature, profoundly accentuating time and mortality. For millions of years the elements -- water, fire, and air -- have continued to construct and deconstruct the landscape, while the laws of motion grind their marks into eternity, indifferent to all traces of humankind.”
