Squire Fox was raised in the Southeast from Virginia to Hilton Head and later attended Savannah College of Art and Design and studied in France as well as the Maine Photographic Workshops. Having experienced all of the South¹s charm and beauty and always on the go, he set out for adventure of another sort, New York City. For twelve years Squire lived and worked in New York shooting editorial and advertising until recently moving back the South to Charleston SC where he currently travels for most of his clients.

Squire has worked for magazine publications which include Vanity Fair, Vogue,Travel & Leisure, Condé Nast Traveller UK, Martha Stewart Living, and New York Magazine, among others.
